Maryland Crab Green Curry

Known for its sweet taste and hearty texture, the meat from the blue crab is a true taste sensation. Now image adding a Thai twist with CurrySimple's spicy Green Curry Sauce. WOW! Maryland blue crabs are generally in season and available in the summer during the summer season. You may find them fresh near the Chesapeake Bay and local beaches such as Ocean City. Another option is to look for canned versions that are available online. Both options will yield and amazing curry crab dish!

Serves 3 and ready in 15 minutes

Ingredients

20 oz Maryland blue crab meat
1 green pepper sliced
1 red pepper sliced
1 cup sliced white onions
1 cup green beans
15 basil leaves
1 pouch CurrySimple Green Curry Sauce

Directions

Heat pan to high heat and add 1/2 pack of green curry sauce.
Add crab meat and simmer for 2 minutes
Add green peppers, red peppers, white onions, green beans and basil
Add remaining green curry sauce and heat until at serving temperature (about 3 minutes)
Serve over a bed of jasmine or brown rice

*Simmering the crab meat in the green curry sauce opposed to using cooking oil is a healthier option used in this recipe.
