Thai Peanut Sauce Recipe - Simple yet Tasty!
The title says it all! This recipe is so simple but tasty. We got a tip from a culinary professional over at Viking about how great of a peanut sauce can be made just by taking some peanut butter and adding our red curry sauce for some extra flavor. A phone call from a great customer of ours inspired me to mix up this quick recipe and take some beautiful photos. To answer the common question of why there is not a good tasting peanut sauce is relatively simple. Due to the amount of people that are now allergic to peanuts makes it a huge liability for factories to have them in their inventory. This makes packaging companies come up recipes that make it taste "similar" to a peanut sauce that is found at your local Thai restaurant. It is hard to compete with real peanuts!
Thai Peanut Sauce Recipe - Serves many! Ready in 10 minutes!
Ingredients:
10 oz jar all-natural peanut butter (smooth or chunky)
12 oz CurrySimple Red Curry Sauce
2 pinches of dried chilli powder

Preparation:
1. In a sauce pan add peanut butter with low heat.
2. Add CurrySimple's Red Curry Sauce (12 oz).
3. Add 2 pinches of dried chilli peppers (add extra to increase spice).
4. Mix ingredients together. (2 minutes).
5. Store in a Tupperware container.
6. Easily re-heat a portion in the microwave!
